After graduating in piano studies from Kunitachi College of Music, Miki Hirano enrolled in the Conducting Faculty of the University of Music and Performing Arts, Vienna. While there, she studied conducting under Raiobiz , accompaniment under Harold Gertz, and piano under Leonid Brumberg. She was a particular favorite of Brumberg, who rated her abilities highly.Hirano performed many solo recitals in Vienna, Linz and elsewhere, and from 1992 to 2000 held annual recitals at Tokyo’s Suntory Hall with Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra first violinist Bernhard Biberauer.
In 1995, her performances in Tokyo, Osaka, and other venues in Japan with members of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra as the Vienna Donau Trio also earned rave reviews. In 2003, Hirano and Biberauer released a CD of three Mozart sonatas for violin and piano from BMG Funhouse. In 2005, She also held a series of performances in Tokyo featuring all of Mozart’s piano sonatas, and went on to become one of the few pianists worldwide to record the complete collection of Mozart’s piano sonatas. And now, with her arrangement of this piece and performance as both a pianist and singer, she demonstrates a rare talent unmatched throughout the world.

Après l’obtention de son diplôme au Conservatoire de musique de Kunitachi, elle entre au Départe ment des conducteurs à l’academie de musique de Vienne, et étudie avec le professeur Raiobiz la direction d’orchestre, les méthodes d’accompagnement avec le professeur Harold Goerz et le piano avec Leonid Brumberg.
Elle fait plusieurs concerts en solo a Vienne et Rinz, et joue un récital au Suntory Hall de Tokyo chaque année de 1992 à 2002 avec le premier violon de l’Orchestre Philharmonique de Vienne, Bernhart Biberauer.
Elle forme le « Vienne Donatello» en 1995 en compagnie des membres de l’Orchestre Philharmo nique de Vienne et joue à Tokyo et Osaka. Elle sort en 2003 son premier CD à travers la maison de production BMG Fan House, regroupant les compositions jouées avec Bernhart Biberauer «Les trois sonates de Mozart pour piano et violon ». La même année, elle joue en concert à Tokyo l’ensemble des sonates pour piano de Mozart, puis sort en 2005 une compilation des sonates de Mozart pour piano regroupant 6 CD qui fit l’unanimité aupres des magazines critiques. En plus d’exercer ses talents de pianiste au travers de cette compilation, elle dévoile également son habilité au chant et comme arrangeuse.
